CRITIC REVIEWS FOR STAR WARS: TALES OF THE JEDI: SEASON 1

Star Wars fans of any level can find something to appreciate.

If you take it as a given that Star Wars is going to indulge in what’s derisively referred to as “fan service,” then by all means, do it as well and as slickly as this.

While Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is entertaining and it's nice to fill in gaps, it also comes at the expense of retconning established canon in novels.

Much like The Clone Wars television series, Tales of the Jedi‘s stories are fairly good. There are some great moments and solid animation, but specific parts exceed the whole.

Tales Of The Jedi brings some familiar prequel trilogy characters back to our screens, in stories that fill in more Clone Wars canon, which is always a plus.

Tales of the Jedi is one of my favorite slices of the Star Wars. I hope they explore many other characters in the mythos.
